Voices for Paws

Your dog welfare fund

Every dog deserves a stronger voice

We fund partners and make targeted gifts. We do not house dogs.

Voices for Paws is a newly-formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit that will raise funds and make targeted donations to shelters and organizations that promote the health and well-being of dogs. We do not operate a shelter—we plan to amplify the work of groups already on the ground.

Early gifts build the pool for our first partner grants. We do not house dogs or run a shelter of our own.

Building a fund for dog health, nutrition, and shelter support

About us

A new nonprofit with a clear plan: fund dog welfare

Voices for Paws is a newly-formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit that will raise funds and make targeted donations to shelters and organizations that promote the health and well-being of dogs. We do not operate a shelter—we plan to amplify the work of groups already on the ground.

  • Raise our first funds online and through community campaigns
  • Identify shelters and dog-welfare partners with clear needs
  • Prioritize planned support for medical care, nutrition, and living conditions
  • Stay lean—amplify partners instead of running a shelter of our own

Where gifts will go

Planned support for dogs who need it most

We are a new organization and have not yet made grants. As we raise funds, we plan to support shelters and dog-welfare partners working on the priorities below—medical care, nutrition, and better conditions for dogs in their care.

Early stage · No grants made yet · Building our first funding round

Planned

Medical care

We plan to help fund vaccines, spay/neuter, emergency treatment, and wellness visits for dogs in partner shelters.

Planned

Nutrition & supplies

We plan to support quality food, bedding, and essential supplies that keep dogs healthy while they wait for homes.

Planned

Shelter support

We plan to back programs that improve living conditions, enrichment, and adoption readiness for dogs in care.

In motion

Why this work matters

Companions waiting for care

Dogs in shelters need food, vaccines, and steady support. These are the needs we plan to help address with our first grants.

All dogs need good homes

Every dog deserves a safe place to land. We plan to support shelters that prepare dogs for adoption and the care that helps them get there.

Hands-on health & welfare

We plan to fund organizations already examining paws, treating illness, and building trust—not replace them.

How we plan to work

From first gifts to first grants

Voices for Paws is newly formed. We have not yet raised funds or issued grants. Our plan is clear: fundraise, choose strong dog-welfare partners, and put resources into care—not into running a shelter of our own.

  1. Step 1

    Raise our first funds

We’re building a community of individual and family donors. Early gifts will seed our first grantmaking cycle for dog health and welfare.

  2. Step 2

    Identify strong partners

We plan to vet shelters and programs already serving dogs well—medical care, nutrition, enrichment, and adoption readiness.

  3. Step 3

    Make our first grants

Once funds are in hand, we will make targeted donations so resources reach animals in care—without building a shelter of our own.

Help us fund our first round of canine care

We’re just getting started. Your gift seeds planned support for medical care, nutrition, and better shelter conditions—once we begin making grants.
